Driving up into the school parking lot Mia realized she still had another hour before school even started. She was hardly ever this early, only a few students milled about waiting to go inside. But she could’ve sworn she was at least five minutes late. She supposed that’s what happened when setting her clock at two in the morning. Mia had been worn out but pushed herself to finish her science homework, sometimes she worked herself too hard. Between homework and cheerio practice, Mia barely had time to just relax. Constantly her mind was running on song ideas, cheer positions, and a math equation. Now of course it had her running on empty. Dark circles had formed under her eyes and Mia found it was a good thing she had arrived early. It gave her enough time to put on some makeup and hide her true exhaustion from the night before. She knew how to fix just about anything and found herself finished after only a few minutes. Looking at her reflection, she couldn’t help but how different she looked from this morning. She ran a hand through her hair and closed the mirror in her hand. Biting her lip she sat back in the leather seat and used her side mirrors to watch students arrive. Several hung out near the steps, but most seemed to walk off to the side of the building.
Drumming her fingers against the wheel she let out s sigh. She still had a half hour before the bell was supposed to ring. What was she going to do until then? A small light blinded her and she had to shield her eyes, looking down she found a few cds that had fallen on the floor. Looking around she decided it wouldn’t hurt to jam out in her car. Leaning over she picked up the cases and flipped through them. She had all kinds of songs for different occasions. But then a Plain White T’s case caught her attention. She hardly ever listened to them, it was more a cd that she had to be in the mood for. Mia played it and skipped the first few tracks. None of them were catching her attention, until it landed on “Take Me Away.” Mia smiled, she remembered that song. It was a fun one that she used to play in order to drown out her friends when they cried or complained over something trivial. All of her past friends were more concerned about how they looked, one in particular had spent an hour crying in the car just because she hadn’t been able to get the right color in some kind of shoe.
Mia nodded her head to the beat of the music, until she felt herself really get into the song. “I know we just got here but I think it’s time to go. I didn’t want to believe it but now I know. ..you know who just walked here and she didn’t come alone. I can’t stand to see this get me home.” It was the very beginning of the song, but already Mia felt as though it matched how she was feeling in that very instant. Mia loved music, and practically had a library of it hidden in her room. A single panel on her wall had been taken apart so she could craft a secret storage. From the wall to the ceiling, cds packed the shelves. Mia literally had anything her friends could think of. Money really could go a long way, but she didn’t care about any of that. All she carried about was jamming out to the song of the car. What she hadn’t expected was for someone to tap on the window. Mia let out a small scream. And turned to see who it was. “Wasn’t expecting that.” Her face turned a small shade of pink.

THE WEBS I WEAVE, I AM CAUGHT IN THIS GAME&& M Y P A S S I O N' S D E A DTHE LIFE I'VE LEAD WILL DROWN ME IN VAIN Sam loved waking up early in the mornings. Especially when those mornings were in the middle of the week. Sunday through
Thursday, as dorky as it seemed, Sam went to bed as early as ten o’ clock at night. It wasn’t necessarily his bedtime. He could stay up as late as he wanted. He did it for himself. As a growing boy, he really needed sleep. Nothing made him happier than a good night’s rest. This way, when he woke up at seven that day, he’s already had nine hours of sleep. The first bell didn’t ring until eight. Contrary to popular belief, he wasn’t as obsessed with his appearance as some people thought. He took a quick shower, blew dry his hair, and got dressed in casual school wear. He had a delicious scrambled egg on toast breakfast prepared by his mother, and had driven all the way to school by seven thirty. He didn’t mind his piece of junk car so much, especially because it sure went fast. He pulled into a parking spot, but made no move to get out. Nobody came to school this early. Looking around, he saw an almost empty parking lot and two or three minglers. Nobody he really socialized with anyway. He was tempted to call his girlfriend and tell her to come keep him company at school, but he knew she loved taking her time each day. She wouldn’t be there until five minutes after the first bell. Being head Cheerio sure helped her get away with a lot. And being the supportive man he was, he chose not to call her. Back to square one, his eyes made another sweep of the parking lot. A few more cars had arrived, he noticed. One car specifically stood out to him. Mia. Mia Landon seemed to be absolutely everywhere these days. He couldn’t help but notice it. She’d joined New Directions, which immediately made her cool in his book. She was also a Cheerio and very good friends with Quinn. He’d even got to hang out with her a few times outside of school, because of her connection to his girlfriend. She was one of the coolest girls he knew. What he was noticing about her today was that she must’ve genuinely thought she was alone. He was parked a little ways across from her, and could see her perfectly through her windshield. Both of their windows were rolled up, but it was still very obvious that she was singing. He laughed a little bit, but not really at her. Just at how funny she was. He could tell she was really jamming. Shaking his head, he turned his car off, and got out, locking it behind him. Then he proceeded over to her car, unnoticed, and knocked right on her window. The look of surprise was evident, but he broke out into a grin. He made a motion with his hand for her to roll down the window and she did. He leaned down and rested both of his forearms on her window frame. ”Yeah, I can see that.” Still, he smiled. He wasn’t judging her in the slightest. Sam would never do that to anyone. It was still nice to get to relax and talk to her by himself for a change. Sure, they were friends, and knew each other, but he couldn’t even tell anyone her middle name, should they ask. He loved making new friends, and Mia was a perfect candidate. He raised an eyebrow at her. ”Was that Plain White T’s I just heard? Wow, it’s really been forever since I listened to them. Next thing I know, you’ll be pulling out a Cute Is What We Aim For cd.” He rolled his eyes jokingly, but he wouldn’t really mind. He loved the old alternative bands, and Mia’s voice was excellent, so he knew she could pull them off. tagging mia landon outfit outfitwords 652 lyrics the webs we weave by escape the fate notes ehh, this is crap credits this was made by brooke ![/blockquote]

Her face burned as she realized how truly embarrassing it all was, one of the cutest guys at her school had just witnessed her rocking out in her car. So much for being one of the only few students in the parking lot, why couldn’t have been Kurt. Well he didn’t exactly go here anymore, but even Quinn or Brittany. But no, she had to be her friend Sam who found her like this. At first she didn’t know what to say, and then realized that with the window rolled up she wouldn’t be too successful in speaking to him. Her thumb pressed down on the window button and the glass slowly parted until it sank to the very bottom. Then she moved her hands in awkward gestures trying to find the right words, while in the back of her mind she kept wondering: why me? “Right…of course you can…because of the window.” She tried to manage a laugh and then let her head lay against the wheel. Then she closed her eyes and truly did start laughing. “How embarrassing…I’m so sorry you had to see that.” Then she looked up at Sam and smiled. “I guess I didn’t expect to find you here. You don’t seem like a morning person.”
Then in early morning silence she realized that Quinn wasn’t anywhere to be found. This was highly unusual for her to be experiencing, she never was able to speak with Sam alone. Not that it was off limits, but usually Quinn was in his midst. They were so cute together, and stuck like glue. Even Rachel was that way with Finn, and even though Mia loved Quinn to death she had to wonder if Sam ever got any breathing room. But it was none of her business, she was just glad that they final got to hang out before school started. Sam was a nice guy, and she liked him being in the New Directions. He was a great singer, and loved all the songs he picked. They all just fit who he was as a person, and she admired that. Then at him mentioning the song she blushed and nodded. “Yep, you caught me…but I know what you mean. I haven’t listened to them in a long time. But somehow I found it laying around.” Mia laughed and put her hand on her face. “Oh gosh…I used to listen to them too.”
In the background the cd skipped onto the next track. She had lost count of how many songs had played, Mia was more wrapped up in being caught singing. Being thrown completely off guard usually had that effect on people. Hey There Delilah picked up in the background and Mia looked over her shoulder. “Wow I forgot all about that song. It used to be one of my favorites. Well actually…that was one of the first few songs I learned to play on the guitar.” Mia realized how silly that must have sounded to Sam. Now he was a guy that new how to play, she usually preferred playing the harmony. Mia tried to change the subject, “you play though right? I mean…yes you do…but uh… how long?” She hated those moments when she didn’t know what to say. Quinn could talk without skipping a beat and here she was floundering in her own crazy mess.

THE WEBS I WEAVE, I AM CAUGHT IN THIS GAME&& M Y P A S S I O N' S D E A DTHE LIFE I'VE LEAD WILL DROWN ME IN VAIN He was surprised he didn’t give off the impression of a morning person. He was always so chipper, even right after waking
up. In fact, he was sometimes given strange looks because of his optimism. He was just a happy guy, despite what the world threw at him. ”I’m actually the biggest morning person. It’s night time that I can’t stand. I can never keep myself awake enough to party or anything. My energy goes down in the sun. I guess that happens when you grow up in the South.” He shrugged his shoulders. He didn’t even really mind not going out after games with the football team or the Cheerio’s, or even sometimes missing Glee functions. He’d rather chill out and watch a movie anyway. He grinned at her as she put her head down on the steering wheel. He understood why she was blushing and all. It was pretty embarrassing. Well, it would have been, were it anyone other than Mia. She had this air about her that he absolutely adored. She could get away with pretty much anything because she was so outgoing. She had that crazy, eccentric personality that was apparently very hard to find in Lima. He wanted to soak that up as much as he could. He felt so out of place being a nice guy here. He put his hands up in a wonderstruck motion. ”Hey, don’t even worry about it. If anything, I’m impressed with your…,” he drifted off, not sure of what word to use here. Finally, he managed, ”Energy.” She was so into her signing, it made him smile. He took singing very seriously, especially now that he felt more comfortable doing it. He figured, if you were going to do anything, do it with passion, and Mia had enough passion to encourage their entire team. Sam loved throwback music. He listened to little bits of everything, but his new kick was country music. He’d been specifically into Chris Young lately, but the old alternative stuff was still in his heart. There wasn’t a single song he once loved that he ever forgot the words to. He nodded in solemn agreeance, also feeling a bit embarrassed at their old music tastes. ”We all did, at some point or another. Some of us just hide it better.” He raised an eyebrow now. Not many girls played guitar. He’d tried teaching Quinn numerous times, but when she couldn’t get it, which she never did, she’d get frustrated and give up. He didn’t blame her, since you had to sort of have the natural ability for it, but he was still surprised to hear that Mia could play. He wasn’t too taken aback though. She seemed to be good at everything. ”How long have you been playing?” He tried to remember back to as long as he’d been playing, and he reminded himself how much he hated playing the story. See, Sam had been his football team’s quarterback back in Tennessee, but had briefly broken his leg in the middle of the school year. Bedridden, he picked up a guitar. That was only about six months ago. Whenever he said this, he felt like a jerk for being so good, because like he said, it was all natural talent, which Sam had a lot of. He subconsciously rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly at her. ”Oh, about six months.” He hoped to God she wouldn’t make the comparison between his amazing skill and the short amount of time he’d been playing. It would just make him seem like some kind of show-off. tagging mia landon outfit outfitwords 602 lyrics the webs we weave by escape the fate notes please excuse sam's adorable humility (: credits this was made by brooke ![/blockquote]
