It was finally Friday night, and Quinn had just gotten back from Cheerios practise about an hour ago. Her plan for the night was to just relax and maybe get some of her homework out of the way, but she was also hoping to see Sam. She hadn’t been able to find him after school earlier which she assumed was because he was at football practise, but she planned to call him at some point that night to see if he was up for doing something. It had been a long week and she really just wanted to stay in and hang out with her boyfriend away from the crowded hallways of McKinley. Ideas for what they could do that night were flowing through her head, but at the moment she was focusing more on her current task. That task was laying on her stomach on her bed with a textbook open in front of her. She had a History test on Monday and was currently scanning the chapters their teacher had advised them to focus on and making some study notes for herself. She also had her notebook open to use her own written notes as a reference too, and the process was progressing rather quickly – much to her pleasure. Her thought process was that if she studied a bit now, she wouldn’t have to do so much over the rest of the weekend or cram at the last minute to feel prepared.
She had already decided that she wasn’t going to spend too much time on studying because she still wanted to enjoy her Friday night, but she wanted to do at least a bit of it before she started rehearsing some of the songs she’d chosen for glee and determine which one would be the best to perform for everyone. She was already planning to recruit her mother to help her decide, but since the older woman was working for another few hours, Quinn was occupying herself until she came home. Unfortunately, the seventeen year old wasn’t sure how long she would able to keep it up for because the current chapter was dreadfully boring and she wasn’t interested in it at all. She debated going out for a bit until she called Sam since she had gotten a few texts from various friends asking her to go and hang out, but she just wasn’t in the mood that night. In fact, she was entirely content just staying at home and having a movie night. That was just how tired and lazy she was currently feeling. It was a strange thing for her to be so tired since she never usually was, but everyone had days like this when they were lazy and unmotivated and just wanted to relax so that’s the story that Quinn was going to go with for now.
After growing tired of studying, the cheerleader shut her book loudly and walked over to her desk to retrieve her laptop. Once she had booted it up, she logged onto Facebook and Twitter to check a few things, then decided to look up some future songs for Glee on Google. She had her iTunes up and one of her choices was playing so she decided to sing along with it in order to perfect it before showing her mother. After the pregnancy thing, she had been kicked out of her house and had moved in with Finn, and then Mercedes but a few months later her mother had showed up, informed her that she had left Quinn’s father, and they were now living in a house together. Quinn had no idea where her father was now since she hadn’t really talked to him since the night he kicked her out of the house, but she didn’t mind. Her mother was more than enough now, and it had actually helped them grow closer. Speaking of her mother, Quinn wished she would come home already so she could show her the songs she’d been working on, but she knew that Judy was working hard and still getting used to Russell not being around anymore, so she understood. She debated calling Sam again, but figured he needed more time to shower and eat and whatever else he needed to do after football practise, so she decided to prolong it to give him that time. She would, however, be calling him soon enough.

I SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU GO&& A N D I N E V E R D I DI SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU FALL Sam was still the new kid at William McKinley High School. He still wasn’t quite sure who it was acceptable to talk to and who it wasn’t. He didn’t really know what to think when it came to being in New Directions, because it had already made him a bit of a laughing stock on the football team. Girls were still a mystery to him, especially after most of his life in an all boys school. He had a big mouth, and he was very self-conscious about it. Despite all of these things, he was now considered one of the most popular guys at his new school. This was thanks to nothing other than his good looks, his football player status, and being the arm candy of the most popular girl the whole state of Ohio had to offer, Quinn Fabray. Though it might seem like he could use this as an excuse to be with her, that would never be the case. He would jump through rings of fire for Quinn. He felt a connection with her than he did with no other girl before. Maybe that wasn’t exactly hard to believe, since he’d only ever had one girlfriend, but good luck convincing Sam that it wasn’t true love. He absolutely refused to believe that the feeling of happiness he felt right down to his internal organs when he looked at her wasn’t his heart beating so fast that it warmed his whole body. It was probably a little extreme for the short amount of time they’d been dating, but if she didn’t mind, he didn’t mind. However, he always somehow managed to keep it cool, so he never actually suffocated her. He knew way better than that. He was like the perfect boyfriend.
After football practice that Friday afternoon, Sam wondered exactly what the perfect boyfriend would do to make his girlfriend
happy. He wanted to do something to make her day. That being said, he realized that the first step to making her happy was not smelling like a disgusting ogre. He was all sweaty after practice, so instead of hopping in the showers at school, he went home and got ready at the motel. He needed his own stuff. He got right in the shower, washed every inch of his body, and brushed his teeth again. Then he got changed and blow dried his hair into its’ signature sweep. He was, after all, the blonde Justin Bieber. He didn’t even mind the nickname. It didn’t occur to him that he didn’t know what to do next. Quinn hadn’t texted him at all that day, which immediately struck up worry. It was so unlike her, but he would never be that boyfriend. He was nowhere near above texting her first, so he did. He asked her if she was home, to which her reply was yes. Instead of making actual plans, he decided to surprise her at home. Grabbing his car keys, he got into his box of junk car and drove over to her place. He doubted she would mind, but just in case, he texted her to tell her he was coming over and would just be walking in. Mrs. Fabray wouldn’t be getting home for a little while, and though he knew she wasn’t going to go all the way with him, he still kind of wanted to fool around for a little bit. That didn’t make him a bad person, he didn’t think so, at least. He just wanted to kiss his girlfriend and be alone with her for once in a while. When he did finally get to Quinn’s place, he didn’t bother knocking or anything. He assumed everything was a go, since she knew he was coming over. He’d been to her house dozens of times, and knew his way around the place pretty well. He headed through the foyer and right up the stairs, making a sharp turn into her bedroom. He tried his best to be quiet, but Sam was a big guy, and he made a lot of noise. Regardless of whether he was noticed or not, he moved himself over to her bed and laid on top of her, knowing better than to really put any of his weight on her. He kissed her cheek and looked over her shoulder at the textbook she was reading. He knew he should be studying, and his grades needed it, but he just couldn’t. He could hardly make out any of what the stuff he was reading actually meant. The best way, he’d learned, to deal with his dyslexia, was to ignore it entirely. He didn’t like to think that he was going nowhere in life because he could barely read. That was how he’d adopted his ‘live for now’ attitude. It was self-destructive and stupid, but so was Sammy. ”So, what exactly is the game plan for tonight babe?”[/b[ Being the chivalrous guy he was, he felt the need to always let her pick the plans, unless told otherwise. Like he’d said a million times before, it was all about making her happy. Maybe that was why he didn’t really have any guy friends. It was something to fix, but why would he when nothing made him happier than his girlfriend did?

Quinn’s life had been going uphill since school began. It was like summer vacation had made people forget that she had once been the pregnant head cheerleader who was part of the dorkiest club at McKinley High, and were now looking at her as the popular girl she had been before her pregnancy. It helped that she was dating the new cutest guy in school, but that wasn’t all that her relationship with Sam was based on. She was genuinely happy that she was with him now, and was glad he hadn’t given up on her when his attempts to get her had failed. She had been so convinced that she didn’t need anyone and that the year was going to be about her, but she was glad that she decided to give Sam a chance. He really was the perfect boyfriend and he treated her really well. Of course, Finn had been that way too and she would never get over what she did to him last year but it was too late to take it back now. She still lived with the guilt of that, and she also had guilt because Sam didn’t know about any of the things she had gone through last year. It was putting a huge elephant in the room whenever they were together, and though she wanted to tell him she hadn’t found a good time to do it yet.
As she thought about that, she heard her cell phone buzzing and picked it up to see a text message from Sam asking her if she was at home. Smiling, she quickly responded that she was and put the phone down beside her on the bed before continuing what she was doing. Her computer had got kind of boring, so she had shut it down and returned it to her desk, then sat back down on her bed and pulled her stupid History textbook back towards her. After a few minutes, her phone buzzed again and she picked it up only to be informed that he was on his way over and would just let himself in. Smiling and feeling excited, she quickly sent him a response then jumped up from her bed to go downstairs and unlock the front door for him. Once she did that, she walked back up to her room and studied herself in the mirror on her dresser. She had showered and changed when she got home since Cheerios practise had left her slightly sweaty, but she wanted to make sure that she looked perfect for him. It was going to be the first time they’d been alone together for more than a few minutes in a few days and she was determined to make up for not seeing much of him in that time. She was really up for anything as long as she got to spend some alone time with him.
Once she had sprayed a bit of Guess perfume on, she studied herself once more in the mirror and felt satisfied with her appearance. Feeling her excitement bubble up more, Quinn returned to her perch on her bed and pulled the History book back onto her lap, determined to occupy herself with studying until her boyfriend arrived. She only hoped that her mother wouldn’t get home when he got there, because she would certainly not approve of them being in the house alone together. But, judging by how late she’d been working the past few nights, Quinn wasn’t really worried. She had debated trying to convince Sam to let her help him study when he got there, but she didn’t think that would go over well. It was Friday night, after all, and they’d been having to deal with school all week. Truthfully, Quinn didn’t really feel like studying either, but she had a huge obsession with keeping her straight As so she was doing it. Once Sam got there, however, she would be putting the stupid book away for the rest of the night. As she thought about what they could do when he got there, she heard the front door open and footsteps coming up the stairs. She didn’t actually notice that Sam had entered the room until she suddenly found him laying on top of her, her textbook now shoved to the end of her bed at his feet. She smiled as he kissed her cheek and she raised her arms to lock around his neck. “I hadn’t really thought about it yet,”
she responded, looking up at him. “I assume studying won’t go over well with you, so maybe a movie night?” she suggested, not really caring what they did. She was perfectly fine being pinned underneath him all night if that was what he wanted, but she didn’t want to disappoint him if that started to lead to something more and she had to stop him. I SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU GO&& A N D I N E V E R D I DI SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU FALL The one surefire way to know you’re truly into someone the way Sam was into Quinn was the way he’d reacted to her shutting
him down. Yes, adorable, chivalrous, charming Sam just wasn’t really what Quinn was looking for. She’d vowed for her Junior year to be about her, and he’d came along and completely ruined that for her. He tried everything. Singing to her, complimenting her, making her laugh, but nothing seemed to work. She just kept blowing him off. The thing with Sam was that he’d already gotten it into his head that she was the girl he wanted. He was the first girl he’d ever even see in Ohio, so it was a pretty forward assumption to think that they’d end up together. He just had no interest in any of the other girls around here. Nobody had even once caught his eye. So he kept it up, trying unbearably hard to win her over. When she finally agreed to a date, he couldn’t remember ever being so high up on a cloud. That was, until a few weeks later, when she agreed to be his girlfriend. After that, every single day was just a little bit better than the one before. There wasn’t a single thing she could do to ruin his opinion of her, no matter what. There were times when he felt like he was looking too far ahead into this relationship with Quinn, but it was, after all, his first real girlfriend. And she had yet to give him reason to think this would be short lived. If he really did love her as much as he thought he did now, they had the potential to last forever. If not forever, maybe just until high school was over. He didn’t want to seem creepy about it. It was a new feeling, being wanted. Sam never tried very hard for attention. He got it pretty well on his own. For starters, his mouth always seemed to attract stares where ever it was that he went. He had the same hairstyle as Justin Bieber, but even worse, because it was platinum blonde. He was really good at football, so that game him immediate points with the ladies. At an all boys school, you learned not to care so much about girls. There were other things to focus on. But as soon as he moved to Ohio and spotted Quinn, everything changed. He was doing anything to get himself on her radar, even joining New Directions. Then, when they started dating, that was just another notch on his long list of things that made him the center of attention. Being Quinn Fabray’s boyfriend apparently held a lot of stock around here. Just from what he’d gathered in random classes with slightly less than pure girls, it was concluded that they were all over him because he was fresh meat, but also because he had a girlfriend. Sam never understood that logic. He tended to steer clear of girls with boyfriends. There was no honor in a man who would do that to another man. Obviously, the same rules didn’t apply for girls. Quinn got jealous easily, but it was a mutual trait they shared. He wasn’t too sure how to react the first time a girl had come onto him while he was with Quinn, but he knew that he had no desire to even look at anyone else, no matter how attractive they were, when he had his gorgeous girlfriend. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what this place would be like without her, because as of right now, she was pretty much his entire life. While he stood in the doorway, he didn’t actually go over to her right away. He sort of leaned in the doorframe, watching for a little while. He loved the way she looked when she studied, all straightfaced and frustrated. He found it adorable. She often offered to help him out, but he denied it. Though he was confident she could work wonders, he found it hard to focus when she was around. It would take time from them being really together and for absolutely nothing. He wouldn’t take in any of the information regardless. He liked surprising her by pinning her to her bed, but when her arms wrapped around his neck, he was equally as surprised. They’d gone pretty far, but she was never really all that eager, which he always understood. When she seemed like she wanted to hook up, he always got a little hesitant, like there was some string attached or maybe something was wrong with her. He grinned down at her, staring directly into her eyes. ”You know me so well. Movies, it is.” He laughed and kissed her neck once, very lightly. ”And being the gentleman that I am, I’m gonna let you pick the movie. Even if it’s a chick flick.” At this last part, he let out a dramatic sigh, like he was making some huge sacrifice by watching The Notebook with her. To be entirely honest, he had no preferences. They could hook up and do all that high school stuff, or they could both fall asleep in each other’s arms. He’d be just as content either way, because he just wanted to spend time with her. tagging quinn fabray outfit outfitwords 884 lyrics have faith in me by a day to remember notes i'm gonna cry when they break up ): credits this was made by brooke ![/blockquote]

Quinn had never really had a guy chase her the way Sam had. When she and Finn started dating, it wasn’t necessary because he was the quarterback of the football team and she was the head cheerleader. It was just one of those relationships that were supposed to happen, so she hadn’t turned him down. That relationship had kept the two of them on top of the social ladder for the last few years and life was amazing. Then she got pregnant as a result of unintentionally cheating on him and that had brought her down a bit. It also didn’t help that she had joined glee club on Coach Sylvester’s order, but she didn’t care because they had given her somewhere to belong. With Sam, he was the new kid at school and he had already scored a position on the football team. He had immediately taken an interest in her, but she had been so focused on trying to make that year about her after her pregnancy that she hadn’t returned those feelings. After some meddling from Rachel and Finn, she ended up accepting Sam as a duet partner, and they won the competition and the dinner at Breadstix. After that night, there was really no way that she could ignore his advances – despite some of them being a bit too bold – and she finally agreed to date him. They had only been an official couple for about a month, but she was genuinely happy with him.
It hadn’t been a new feeling to be wanted because of her head cheerleader status, but Quinn had learned to ignore it because nobody – except Puck, apparently – had dared mess with the quarterback’s girlfriend when she was dating Finn, and now it was no different with Sam. Though he wasn’t the quarterback at the moment because of a shoulder injury, he was still popular and it sometimes got to Quinn. She had noticed that Sam didn’t seem used to all the female attention he was now getting, and she thought it was adorable despite not particularly liking her boyfriend getting attention from other girls. She couldn’t help being the jealous type because Sam was such a great catch and she didn’t want to lose him. He was literally one of the best things in her life right now, and she wanted to keep it that way. She’d had enough problems in her life last year and liked having someone by her side to help her move past all of that. Plus, his popularity helped her keep her own popularity, but that wasn’t what their relationship was all about because she genuinely loved him. She didn’t even care that she was saying that so early into their relationship, because it was true. He made her really, really happy and she loved having him in her life. She had accepted all the promises he’d made to her when she accepted his ring, and she trusted that he wouldn’t break any of them.
Now that he was there, nothing else really mattered to her. She didn’t care about her stupid History test on Monday or the fact that her mother was still at work. All she cared about was spending time with her amazing boyfriend, and maybe sneaking in some tutoring so he would stop barely getting by with his grades. By this time, she had already decided that they probably wouldn’t be watching the movie the entire time since he seemed to have other ideas on his mind, but she was prepared to stop it if it went too far. The good thing was that if she did that, he wouldn’t actually express his frustration even if he was feeling it. She knew for a fact that stopping him whenever he tried to go all the way with her frustrated him, but he was understanding and patient with her. One day she would be ready to go all the way again, but she wanted to be sure it would actually mean something the second time she actually did it. She giggled as he placed a kiss on her neck, moving a hand to brush some of his shaggy hair out of his eyes. “Damn, you know my neck is one of my weaknesses!”
she said playfully, smiling up at him and dropping her hand to his cheek once she’d moved his hair. She smirked when he mentioned how well she knew him. “Of course I do. I’m the good student in this relationship, after all,” she teased, raising an eyebrow when he said she could pick the movie. “Wow, you’re entrusting me with choosing? That might be a mistake.” She was saying that just to tease him, and would try her best not to pick a movie that would torture him too much. But, maybe it didn’t matter what they watched like he’d said. After all, he seemed pretty content to just lay on top of her like that.

I SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU GO&& A N D I N E V E R D I DI SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU FALL Sam had to try really hard sometimes to keep his cool when it came to Quinn and her love life. He was well aware of her still
somewhat recent break-up with Finn. The two weren’t exactly friends, but it still made things uncomfortable at football practice, especially since Sam sometimes played quarterback. He never had the best self-esteem, and being Quinn’s boyfriend didn’t help much. He was constantly on edge about some guy just waltzing in and stealing her away from right beneath his nose. There was nothing he could think of at this point in his life that would devastate him more. The details of their break-up was fuzzy, but he never pushed her to tell him everything. If she wanted to, she would. He refused to be that boyfriend. Try as he might, coming to terms with her reputation was difficult. He’d even heard some pretty bad things about her, none of which he could remember right now, because they were too ridiculous to even register in his brain. He wasn’t the type of guy to listen to the rumor mill either. That seemed to be for the best, with everything being said about the head Cheerio. It was the only bright side he could think of to being the new guy. He started out with a clean slate, but so did everyone else. He felt no need to know all of their dirty laundry, since people changed and all. Odds were, even if Quinn had been somewhat of a bad person before, the Quinn he knew now was everything he could ever ask for and more. Still, things got under his skin sometimes. He was a guy, and a sensitive one at that, even if you couldn’t tell at first glance. He was a big bundle of mysteries. Sam himself had never actually done anything he was too ashamed of. To be completely fair, he was a sheltered guy and there were minimal skeletons in his closet. His biggest secret at this point was that he wasn’t actually a virgin. He didn’t like to exactly advertise it, since he had the good guy thing going for him. He really was a good guy, but shouting that sort of thing from the rooftops was a different story entirely. If anybody asked him straight out, even Quinn, he would tell them the truth. He wasn’t ashamed. It had been his girlfriend at the time and it was completely her idea. He didn’t go around sleeping with every girl who came his way, considering he’d only ever done it a few times, and that was with only one girl. He’d never been an oversexed guy to begin with, and he was pretty good at controlling his hormones. He figured that was why he wanted to go all the way with Quinn. She was beautiful, smart, kind, helpful, talented, funny, and all around perfect. He just knew that it was the sort of thing that could really bind them together, not that their togetherness wasn’t secure now. He just really hoped their relationship would break the boundaries of the typical high school fling. It sure felt like more than that to him. As weird as it sounded, he really liked the idea of just being close to her in every sense possible. She was special. More so than he could describe, but he never wanted to let her go. He was willing to do just about anything to make sure they survived. He smiled at just the sound of her voice. Then, upon realizing what she’d actually did, he laughed. A smirk spread across his lips as he kissed her neck once more. ”That’s why I do it.” For a guy who wasn’t at all used to female attention, intimacy, or desire, he sure was smooth. Her hands were so soft. It made it impossibly hard for him to concentrate on anything other than the feeling. He just playfully stuck his tongue out at her, completely unable to do anything more. He realized he wasn’t the sharpest nail in the toolbox, but he still tried sometimes. It didn’t bother him so much, considering how many other things he had going for him. He didn’t want to sound conceited, but he wasn’t exactly mentally challenged either. He was just confident he could survive with the brain he had, if he factored in everything else. He rolled his eyes, making a huge show of it. ”I’d trust you with anything, Quinn, duh.” Even after saying he wanted to watch a movie, he made no move to get off of her. He really could just lay with her like this forever. He didn’t even have to have sex, though he wouldn’t pass it up should it come his way. How the two acted, you’d think they’d been together for way more than a month. Then again, it could also be considered the honeymoon stage too. They hardly knew anything about each other yet, which he was eager to change. He wanted to know everything about her. Sam was the type of guy who was just as interested in what you had to say as he was in what bra size you were. He smiled down at her, looking happily into her eyes as he moved a strand of hair behind her ear, allowing his hand to brush lightly against her skin. tagging quinn fabray outfit outfitwords 897 lyrics have faith in me by a day to remember notes ooohhh, sammy has his own secret! credits this was made by brooke ![/blockquote]

Sometimes, Quinn found it hard to think that she had almost not given Sam a chance. If he hadn’t been so adamant about getting her, then she probably would have lost him after she rejected the promise ring he’d tried to give her the first time. Thankfully for her, he hadn’t given up on her so easily and given her a second chance. She had always found him cute and was touched by his gestures and attempts to win her over, but it hadn’t been until their Breadstix dinner that she’d realized that she really did like him. That was why their simple dinner had turned into a date, and how their relationship had started. It had been a great first date, and though they hadn’t actually been on an official second one, just spending time with him alone was enough for her. He was, however, the new kid and had already made it onto the football team in such a short time at McKinley so there was a lingering fear that he would give into the attention he was attracting and get taken from right under her nose. Now that he was her official boyfriend, Quinn had a claim on him and hoped that most girls knew better than to try and steal the head cheerleader’s boyfriend, and trusted him not to give in. Their relationship was solid enough that she didn’t have to worry about him leaving her for some other girl, but of course there was always fear that he might.
These negative thoughts, however, were not going to help her enjoy the evening she got to spend with him so she did her best to rid them from her mind. Tonight was all about making up for lost time and she wasn’t going to let her own self-esteem issues and fear get in the way of having a good time with her boyfriend. They had already settled on a movie night, but with their current position it didn’t seem like that would be started any time soon. It was horrible for her to say because she was in the Celibacy Club, but Quinn really did enjoy being pinned down the way she was now. She was enjoying it even more this time because it was someone she truly cared about, like it had been with Finn. With Puck, it had more or less been a drunken hook up that should have never happened, so she didn’t really get to enjoy the feeling of everything that had happened to the full extent. Thinking back on that night, Quinn was actually upset that she had lost her virginity that way since she had always planned to save it for someone she loved. Until their break up, she’d always thought that Finn would be her first, but Puck had taken that away from her and she was determined not to let her second time be the same way. That was why she was still saving it with Sam, because she wanted to make sure they truly loved each other first. She wanted it to be more special than a drunken hook-up that ended with her getting knocked up.
She continued to smile up at him, moving her fingers along his face to keep his hair out of his eyes. It was one of those affectionate things that he seemed to like the feel of, which was why she did it. She raised an eyebrow at his smirk when she mentioned her weakness, then playfully swatted at him when he said that knowing that was the reason he did it. “Well, keep doing it and there might be trouble,”
she teased, leaning up slightly so she could kiss him lightly. The small shift in her position had put her chest right up against his stomach, which was completely fine with her. Once she pulled back from him and laid back down only a small part of their bodies were touching, but she didn’t mind. She had noticed that he hadn’t moved to let her up yet so she could go put a movie in, which further confirmed her theory that he had fooling around on his mind. In all honesty, Quinn was fine with that but she didn’t want to lead him into thinking that they would go all the way – though she had to admit that she kind of wanted to. It was, however, not a good idea especially since he didn’t know why she was so hesitant about sex. “Fine, I’ll pick the movie. But, you’ll have to get off me first,” she teased again, gazing up at him as he moved a strand of her hair back behind her ear. He was so gentle and made her feel so comfortable, and if that kept up then she just might stop being so hesitant. It was still too early to tell, however.

I SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU GO&& A N D I N E V E R D I DI SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU FALL Just to really put it out there, even in his own mind, Sam was right now thinking that he would never be the guy to take a girl’s
virginity and run. It didn’t even make it less chance to happen because it was his girlfriend. No girl deserved that, and Sam was the exact type who never would do that. Beyond that, he was willing to wait. Being someone who was not a virgin, he hadn’t let his experiences turn him into a monster. He liked it, yes, but there were more important things on his mind: like making sure she trusted him with something so big. Should Quinn ever decide to have sex with him, then he’d know she was ready, committed, and totally in love with him. To a guy, sex wasn’t all that sacred, so she couldn’t really judge his feelings based on that. But, he had given her a promise ring, which was, in his eyes at least, one of the most genuine symbols of love he could think of. He didn’t just promise to stay faithful with that ring. It meant the whole deal. He promised to stand by her even on her worst days. He promised to stand by her when she was feeling really low. He promised to never take advantage of her or treat her badly. He promised to hold her above everyone else and make sure she was his first priority. If she called, no matter what time or what the reasoning was, he would always be there. That’s what that ring meant to him, and he could never get mad at her for not giving it up, when that meant going against everything he believed in. He truly had eyes for nobody else, regardless of what he was at McKinley High. The first time Sam had sex, he wasn’t all that proud of. Not the general situation; that was nothing to be ashamed of. More of how the whole thing went down. His ex-girlfriend Kim was a cheerleader at the all girls sister school of his own school. She was the kind of girl who gave cheerleaders a bad reputation, but Sam overlooked it. No, not because he was a horny high school student, but because a mutual friend of his had assured him that Kim was really into him and she wasn’t so bad. He accepted the advances, and the two became a couple. He didn’t realize that Kim was just a maneater and was using Sam for his reputation alone. When he found out, he was tempted to break up with her, but he still had feelings for her. Sensing that he was drifting away from him, Kim decided that she needed to do something to make him stay, so she told him that she loved him, then took his virginity. Sam had been convinced that the whole thing was perfect. That was, until a few months later, when it was time for Sam to move to Ohio. She was so upset that she just spilled the whole truth on the floor in front of him and left, never coming back to even say goodbye. Though Kim wasn’t a virgin while Sammy was, he still was the one who felt bad for their relationship. It made him feel like a bad guy, even though he was the one being used. Ever since then, he promised to be careful. Sex wasn’t all that important to him, but he realized how powerful it must be to a girl if she used it to make sure her boyfriend stayed around. He didn’t want Quinn to feel like he would leave her if they didn’t have sex, so he was trying to make that point very clear. Part of the reason Sam kept his hair so long, other than wanting to be like his long time idol, Justin Bieber, was because he loved the feeling of hands going through it. Quinn loved playing with it just as much as he loved getting it played with. Just further reassurance that they were a perfect match. He dodged her flying hands and grinned. He raised an eyebrow right back at her. ”Trouble for who, might I ask?” He was sure the trouble she was referring to wouldn’t actually be trouble for either of them. When she moved, their bodies brushed closer together than they already were. He had a very high tolerance for this sort of thing, but he’d be lying if he said it didn’t turn him on. He wanted to just be connected with her completely. It was almost physically painful to be so close to her without going all the way. She just had that affect on him, but he’d always respect her decisions, so nothing was in jeopardy there. He kissed her back once more and listened to her angelic voice. So she really did want to watch a movie? He was content either way, but if she wanted to watch a movie, a movie would be watched, every time. He smirked a bit and made a big show of rolling his eyes, like he was frustrated. ”If you insist,” he stated, rolling over with ease so she could get off the bed. He laid sprawled out on her bed and placed both hands behind his head. ”Babe, please, not Bring It On again,” he called, laughing as he did so. They’d been watching it over and over since they started dating, but he didn’t mind so much. It was one of her favorite movies. He guessed he liked it because they related so well, but Sam didn’t spend most of his time watching Remember The Titans or High School Musical either. tagging quinn fabray outfit outfitwords 952 lyrics have faith in me by a day to remember notes like i said, extra adorable credits this was made by brooke ![/blockquote]

Quinn wasn’t worried about the night ahead at all. She knew that Sam was itching to go all the way, but she took it as a compliment and a desire for him to further express how he felt about her rather than take it as a bad thing where he just wanted to have satisfaction. Going all the way with someone was a way to bond them together, even if it wasn’t in the best way and Quinn knew she wanted to form that bond between them eventually, but she just wasn’t ready for it to happen yet. With Puck, it had been a drunken lapse in judgement that resulted in hurting someone she truly loved. The guilt of that still haunted her and she wasn’t sure that Finn knew how sorry she truly was for all of it, but it was too late to really take it back now. She wanted to make up for it and at least still try to be his friend – despite still loving him – but she wasn’t sure if that could happen or not. So, she was just going to focus on her relationship with Sam and making it work. She trusted him enough to know that he would never push her into anything she wasn’t ready for, and that was a huge thing in any relationship. She had not, however, told him about Beth and Puck yet but was planning to as soon as the perfect moment came.
Going all the way was still a big deal to Quinn, though it clearly wasn’t to people like Puck who just liked to go from girl to girl to get as much satisfaction as possible. Thinking back on it now, she had no idea what had possessed him to go after his best friend’s girlfriend like that, but she couldn’t put all the blame on him. She had part of the blame too for actually agreeing to drink with him, even though she knew the way he was. It had been a really bad mistake on her part and she was living with the guilt every day. That was why she was determined to get past it and make things work with Sam. She still didn’t know very much about him because their relationship was still new, but she wanted to get to know him just as well as she knew Finn – if not better. It made things a lot easier when they were together because it was clear that Sam just wanted to make her happy, but she wanted to make him happy in return. Getting to know him and participating in things he liked to do too would help make up for the fact that she wasn’t going to go all the way with him just yet. It wasn’t like they hadn’t done anything at all, but intercourse was just out of the question right now. She hoped that the things they did do intimacy-wise and talking about and participating in things he was interested in would be enough for him and help him be less frustrated with his lack of sex. So far, it seemed to be working.
Quinn had to admit that she loved the shaggy look of his hair, and had even grown to like Justin Bieber thanks to him. Finn’s hair had been shorter and less easy to move her fingers through, but Sam’s was at that perfect point between long and short that she could still run her fingers through it affectionately. It was one of her favourite ways to send a tingle down a guy’s spine because most of them liked the feeling – especially Sam, as she had come to discover. She laughed as he dodged her playful attempt to swat him and stuck her tongue out at him. “You, obviously,”
she teased, knowing that ‘trouble’ was probably not going to be bad for him at all. He seemed to tense a bit as their bodies brushed closer together during her movement to kiss him, and she could tell it had turned him on a bit. Truthfully, it had turned her on too, but she was trying to be careful. She laughed as he made a big, dramatic show of having to get off her. “I make no promises,” she teased, getting up and heading over to the shelf where her movies were. Debating for a moment, she plucked one out of the second shelf and popped it into the DVD player on her television. Then, she walked back over to Sam, laid down beside him and rested her head on his chest and her arm across his waist. “I’m kidding, by the way. Franny has my copy of it so you can be spared for today,” she said, looking up at him as the opening credits to Remember The Titans started to play. It was one of his favourite movies and that night wasn’t all about just her being happy.

I SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU GO&& A N D I N E V E R D I DI SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU FALL There was only one thing about Quinn that bothered Sam, and any normal soul would laugh when and if they ever found
out what it was. The thing that bothered him was that nothing about her bothered him. She was genuinely perfect, and it scared the hell outta him. Every time he was around her, it was like he never wanted to leave her side. He followed her around like a lost little puppy. He’d read somewhere once that it was impossible for a relationship to be fifty fifty. Apparently, this held true for them. It wasn’t anything at all like she wasn’t trying. There was no doubt in Sam’s mind that Quinn cared about him. He knew that this was his fault, that he cared too much. There were very few things on the list of things he wouldn’t do for her, and things were eliminated with each passing day. Once he gave her that promise ring, it was like he gave her this huge part of him. Sometimes, to be completely honest, he wondered what life would be like in Ohio if he hadn’t met Quinn. He’d only been there a few days when they met, and he’d set his sights on her immediately. He’d had no time to explore other options, and now, he didn’t want to. He just couldn’t help but feel like he wouldn’t be so wrapped around her finger now if he had something else to compare her to. From what he’d gathered, she went out with Finn, and they used to be the couple everyone talked about. Now it was Sam and Quinn. He wondered if she ever wondered the same things about her life now. He wondered if she wondered where she’d be if Sam never showed up. That wasn’t to say he ever hoped things were different. He was well aware that life wouldn’t be nearly as good without Quinn in it. She was practically everything to him. For one thing, she sure knew how to make him lose control. When their bodies touched, he could actually feel the electricity moving through both of them. It was at least a little bit of consolation to know that she wanted to sleep with him, even if she wasn’t ready to yet. She spent a lot of time playing with his hair, and that made him smile. The only trouble Sam could think of right now was what he would be in if she didn’t stop all the foreplay. He happened to know first hand that you couldn’t just get a guy all worked up like that and then stop cold turkey. He snorted, but didn’t laugh as he agreed with her, saying, ”Yeah, no kidding.” He didn’t ever want her to feel like he was pressuring her. In fact, he often got frustrated with their circumstance, but he went out of his way to hide it from her. He was fine with her wishes. But, he was still a guy. One thing she never had to worry about was Sam ever cheating on her though. Many guys said that, up until they were given the opportunity, but he was genuinely positive it would never happen. He’d never be able to forgive himself. He wasn’t sure how Finn and Quinn’s relationship had ended, but the two weren’t exactly close now, and it was obvious one of them had done something horrible to the other. As her boyfriend, it was his job to put all the blame on Finn, and he couldn’t really see her doing anything wrong anyway. Now he was more determined than ever not to let her down, just in case he wouldn’t be the first. Some girls just couldn’t go through something like that twice. When she got up, he was content to just sit back and watch her move. In fact, nothing made him happier. It was satisfying to know that he was dating the hottest girl at McKinley, hands down. There was no competition in the looks department, except maybe Santana, or the voice department, except maybe Rachel. Quinn had them both beat in the good person department, and that was what mattered most to him. He was just as happy when she returned to his side though. He loved the feel of their bodies close together, and he liked being her rock to lay on. She often joked about what it felt like to be laying on him, because he worked so hard to keep in shape that no part of him was soft. He was prepared for the worst as he waited for the movie to come on, but as soon as he recognized the openings credits, he perked up. Remember The Titans. This was his favorite movie, a fact he couldn’t have told her more than once, yet she remembered it. He looked down and kissed her on the forehead. She was the best girlfriend in the entire world. ”I love you, Quinn.”[/b[ he said seriously. He meant it, too. It wasn’t the first time they’d exchanged these words, but it sort of felt like the first time every time he said it. He definitely meant it every time.

It was hard to continue keeping the secret that Quinn was still a virgin, but she hadn’t found the right moment to tell Sam about Puck and the pregnancy. He knew that she’d had some problems last year and wanted to make that year about her because of that, but he didn’t know what exactly those problems had been. He hadn’t pressed her for more details other than the vague response she had given him which was a breath of fresh air since she hadn’t liked the idea of warming up to someone she barely knew. Now, she knew that she could trust him, but she was still so afraid of what he would think of her and didn’t want to lose him. He was something good in her life and was helping her put the past behind her whether he knew it or not, and Quinn didn’t want to let go of that any time soon. Their relationship was still fairly new, but she was really happy and could see them becoming something extremely serious in the near future. It was for that reason that she really wanted to make their relationship work, and she was determined not to let herself make anymore bad decisions and lose more people she loved. She had already lost Finn, and she refused to lose Sam too. The only problem was that eventually she would have to come clean and tell him what happened last year, and when that time came there was every possibility that he would decide she wasn’t who he thought she was and leave her. That right there was her biggest fear.
She had to admit that sometimes she wondered what life would have been like if Sam had never come to McKinley. Would she and Finn have worked things out? Probably not, since he was dating Rachel now. Would she have gone to Puck? It was possible, but doubtful. In all honesty, she probably would have stayed single and given herself time to figure out who she was and who she wanted to be. When Sam had first tried to win her over that was her mindset and she had blown him off because of it. After their dinner at Breadstix she had started to realize that she could still focus on herself, but also commit to someone else and get over that hurdle that had been in her path for so long. She had realized that she could only get over that bridge if she let herself move on and be happy, and that’s just what she had done. Sam was an amazing guy, and she was glad that he had come into her life. Without him, she would probably be spending every night crying herself to sleep and trying to cope with the things that had happened to her thus far. She hadn’t been proud of the pregnancy thing despite it giving her a beautiful daughter, and she guessed she hadn’t told him about it yet was because she was ashamed that she had done that to Finn.
“Well, it could be good trouble depending how bad you are,”
she teased, trying to dismiss those depressing thoughts from her mind as she bent to grab the movie from her shelf and pop it into the DVD player. As she did, she adjusted the hair that had fallen free from her headband and could feel his eyes on him. He seemed to enjoy just watching her move, and Quinn had to admit that it was actually pretty flattering. She couldn’t help wondering what kind of person Sam had put her down as in his mind, and guessed that it was one completely opposite of who she had been. She knew now that she hadn’t been a nice person back then since getting pregnant had really opened her eyes to that, and she was trying every day to make up for it. She didn’t know how well she was doing, however, but since Sam had been so adamant on dating her she guessed she was doing a fairly good job. As she laid down against him, she could feel his abs under her arm and moved to stroke her fingers across them gently. She loved the feel of them when she did that, and though it was probably not helping him stay calm and cool she couldn’t help it. She could tell he was surprised when the movie started, and she smiled up at him when he kissed her forehead. In response to hearing him tell her he loved her, she smiled in response and leaned shifted so that her face was right next to his. “I love you too, Sam. You really are the best thing in my life right now” she said with a whisper, leaning in to kiss him again, more fully and passionately than before. It was the first time they were exchanging the words, but she knew that they both genuinely meant them. Knowing he loved her would certainly help her find the courage to drop the pregnancy by Puck bomb on him later on in the night, which she had already decided she was going to do. But, for now she wasn’t going to spoil their moment.

I SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU GO&& A N D I N E V E R D I DI SAID I'D NEVER LET YOU FALL Sam had learned something lately that affected a lot of parts of his life. This fact was that Lima was a town based completely on reputation. Seriously. If you weren’t popular around here, your life was pretty much hell. Sam was one of the lucky ones. Quinn or no Quinn, he was pretty much guaranteed a spot at the top. He was the quarterback of the football team. He was attractive. He could sing. All those things combined made him pretty much top of the totem pole. The more important undertone of this realization was what it made him realize about himself. He was better than this place. As a football player with a cheerleader girlfriend, he was already living the stereotype and it enforced the guy he should be in everybody else’s eyes. When people did find out that he wasn’t a jerk, or a player, or any other bad thing guys like Sam were supposed to be, they were surprised. It had already happened twice since the school year started, and he was sure it would continue to happen. A girl had actually looked at him with fear when he approached her, like he was out to hurt her, when actually, he just wanted to know if she needed a hand. He wasn’t the type of guy everyone wanted him to be, but he didn’t understand how that was somehow a bad thing. Shouldn’t they be happy, instead of confused, when he refused to join in on the bullying of some poor, defenseless target? He just didn’t understand people who were mean for no reason. He didn’t understand people who were mean period. Hed been hearing a little bit of talk about how Quinn was that girl, but he didn’t buy it. His Quinn was perfect. She’d never hurt a fly, especially not him.
People just had no faith in each other anymore, and Sammy saw that as the problem. He would believe any word that left Quinn’s lips. That made him naïve, but he’s rather be blissfully ignorant than a total mess. It was his own choice, of course. There were some things he’d just rather not know. God forbid Quinn really did turn out to be Queen Bitch at McKinley, he wasn’t sure how he’d take it. It was one thing to be a bad person in the past, considering she was sweet now, but it would definitely affect him. Not because of her reputation, but only because he’d lay awake and wonder what kind of horrible things she must’ve done to be talked about that way. He’d even heard she cheated on one of her previous boyfriends, but he certainly didn’t believe that, It was a love thing, but he couldn’t help it. Even when she commented on him being in trouble, he couldn’t really find it in himself to play around with her right now. Something had struck him inside. Now he was just glad that all he knew about Quinn were the good things. He could except her flaws, but they would take some getting used to, as all these things did. He was sure that if he dug deep enough, he’d be able to find something he did that she wouldn’t exactly be proud of, but it was harder for him. Sam prided himself on being a good person. Obviously, he was a high school student, and far from a saint, but if Quinn actually found something hidden in his closet, it certainly wouldn’t be something life-changing. He tended to veer away from that sort of thing. He was willing to try his best.
Take right now for example. This was his girlfriend. Maybe not of a very long time, but long enough for him to think that maybe they should be taking little baby steps in the heavier direction. Any normal couple would, but Quinn and Sam were not normal. For whatever reason, she wasn’t ready. He was going to respect that, even if she didn’t seem to understand that the feel of her hands on his skin made him almost too uncomfortable. It was extremely hard to just sit there and focus on a movie when she was so close to him. It did help him a little to have her spilling her guts out to him. Despite how much he actually felt like he loved Quinn, it was hard for him to get excited when they were discussing feelings, even if he started it. He was still a guy, and commitment still scared him to an extent. Still, he understood fully well what she wanted, and he wanted the same thing. For them to stay together for as long as possible. When she moved in to kiss him again, he allowed his free hand to move onto her neck. He wanted to feel as much of her as he could, just to make sure she was still there. Sometimes, with Quinn, it felt too good to be true. ”Trust me, babe. The feeling is mutual. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world when you’re around.” If that wasn’t the truth, he had no idea what was. Everything else in his life had been a lie then. He pulled away, but only barely. This was an intense conversation, and he knew better than to spend too much time on top of her. She tended to think he was only after one thing sometimes. He understood it completely, but he always sort of wondered what he or anyone else had ever done to make her feel like she couldn’t trust him.

Lima was a typical town, and one that Quinn had grown used to since she had grown up there. It was a small place where football games and championships went a long way and were usually the highlight of the town’s reputation. That was why most of the people that lived there lived solely on reputation as well. Quinn herself was one of the worst – she had more or less let her reputation run her life. She didn’t have a good one in junior high and had changed herself drastically to have a good one in high school. She had made it to the top of the social ladder at McKinley, then fallen from grace after Puck had knocked her up. She was more or less back to the top, but she really didn’t care as much about that now. She was technically a mother despite her daughter being given up for adoption, and regret for letting her baby go was now that most dominant thing in her life. So was her relationship with Sam, and her determination to make it work between them. He was the best thing in her life right now, and she wasn’t going to let him go without a fight if it came down to that. However, she was scared of his reaction when she told him what she knew she would have to tell him before the day ended.
The secret of her pregnancy and who had caused it had been eating away at her since she and Sam had started dating, but she had never found the perfect chance to tell him. There was also the fear constantly bubbling up inside her that she would lose him once he knew what had happened last year. It was all in the past and she wasn’t planning on cheating on him like she had on Finn – something she still regretted – but she wasn’t sure how much of that he would believe when she told him. It was also hard to form the words. How did you tell your boyfriend that you cheated on your ex and got knocked up by his best friend, which was the reason for your break up? If she hadn’t cheated on Finn, then Quinn wasn’t sure that she would even be with Sam right now and that was a problem too. She was, however, happy in her life now and she would make sure that he knew that once she told him about Beth. She could already feel herself trying to stall more, but she wasn’t going to let that happen. She needed to lay everything from last year out on the table so that there wouldn’t be anymore secrets and her relationship with Sam could continue to blossom and grow. Having guilt and regret from the past eating away at you was certainly not helpful in a fairly new relationship.
Thoughts of how he’d react were running through her head as Remember the Titans continued to play in the background. It was hard to focus with mixed emotions running through her head, so she just pretended she was paying attention to the movie. They were laying extremely close together and feelings of desire were seeping through her seventeen year old cheerleader, but she wasn’t going to give into them. She had done that once before and ended up pregnant; that wasn’t going to happen again any time soon. She knew she loved Sam, but she wasn’t ready to risk pregnancy for the second time in less than two years. She felt his hand move to her neck as she leaned in to kiss him again, pushing them even closer together and she almost lost the nerve she had built up to tell him about Puck and Beth. It was hard to focus on anything besides Sam when they were so close together, but she didn’t dare pull away until they had shared a decent kiss. When she did pull away, she still kept her arms locked around his neck and leaned her forehead against his as he spoke. “I’m glad to hear it,”
she said with a smile. Then, she remembered what she had to do and let her arms fall then turned away from him. “That’s why there’s something you need to know about last year” she began, moving away from him a bit and waiting for a response from him before continuing.
